Land Rover Defender 90 / Supercharger ?

Supercharging This D90 50th Anniversary, Turned out to be not such a good idea.
Whilst being careful what we say, It seems that Some Supercharges are not quite what you should believe, and can be positively destructive to your Engine.

The Eaton M90 Supercharger Is far too small for a V8. as you wil see ""here"".	The 4.0 Engine has been removed, and the carefully wrapped 4.8 lowered into its place	Essential Port matching for stage 3 heads many would overlook this. detail

This page is not yet completed. but this D90 has "NOW" been fitted with the Stage Four 4.8ltr,
Unfortunately the previous engine work had left some well hidden wiring problems in there vein attempts to stop engine pinking, We believe we have found the last of them, So some good power figures should be available after its first Rolling road Session.
The latest finding was the shorting of the temp sensor to try to make the ECU think all was well, (thing things some company's will do to try and overcome problems)

But its all in vein because Any attempt to increase the engine power or capacity of a Gems controlled V8, will never work unless it is done in conjunction with the ECU Re-chiping a unique service offered by only a few. including ourselves..See more soon
