Just in case you thought we were kidding about how fast it is! Here's an action shot at the start of the 1.4 mile run and before the deployment of the parachute. It should be renamed Lift-Off!

Land Rover Defender 4.6 auto and my 5.2 Range Rover. Showing off ready for the crowds.
The 4.6 motor neatly runs LPG through an
active Mixer inside the filter of the Weber 500 Carb shown here.
This 3.9 EFi powered MG will pull 5th from 600rpm (15mph) all the way to 105mph in 3rd, (that means about 150 in top). Amazing yet so simple.
Some very happy customers enjoying our hospitality and ordering a 3.9 RPi V8 with Weber 500 and Mallory ignition for their Land Rover Defender.
With so many fine V8s on offer, the choice is at least difficult, as you can see.
Steve Green's 4.5 V8 powered MK1 Cortina hits 162mph in 8.2 seconds, no wonder it needs a weely bar and parachute.
Also on show. Tim Phelps' RPi V8 powered 5.2 Rally Car
It's an amazing vehicle and we are very proud to have it shown on our Stand.
Tim is hitting top spots with this vehicle in only its first season, and with
the power he has on tap, traction is still his biggest issue.
