We offer thermostat housing suitable
for both 2-wd and 4-wd. Some conversion kits suggest you
use your original thermostat housing, and block off the
coolant passage to the intake manifold, this is not the
correct way to do it. You will see this and the following
thermostat housing are direct replacements to your existing
one, but with the ability to supply coolant to the intake
manifold as it was designed.

Thermostat housing variants
There are essentially 2 styles of suitable thermostat housing and the only real difference in them is the angle of attachment of the top water hose.
The top picture is normally for 2-wd V8s, and has the outlet
position vertical and pointing forewards,
and the 4-wd version angles the top hose to the right of
the engine bay (lower picture).
