What and where are the blend motors on a P38 Range Rover?

Basically these are slave stepper motors, controlled by the HEVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) ECU and its input devices. They open and shut the air channelling flaps on the internal heater system. All are hidden behind the dashboard and in the main are very difficult to get to, but these stepper motors get clogged and stop working and are so often the fault with P38's when showing the Test Book symbol on the display.

Blend motors, one of the most common faults on the P38 HEVAC system. Yep, these are the reason your toes get cold!!
